Zaragoza in New Milford

Located in the former Salsa restaurant space, Zaragoza is a sophisticated, upscale bar and restaurant. The interior features custom quartz and glass brick bar tops, a 13-foot solid walnut center tapas bar, and crystal light fixtures. APK Designs, an architectural firm based in Newtown, designed it.

Zaragoza offers a wide range of handcrafted cocktails and tapas. The menu features items from local farms and vendors. The restaurant also serves small plates meant to be shared. Owner Artie Praino has been in the restaurant business for 20 years, including running a gourmet deli and a catering business in New York. Although the venture is still in its infancy, initial feedback has been positive.
