Thomas Severson – A Man of Many Talents
Tom loved spending time with his family, especially his four grandchildren and new great grandson. He enjoyed fishing and splashing around in the water.
Severson employs tactics including anonymous calls, appeals to prejudice and using drug task force money for campaign purposes without violating our election laws.
Early Life and Education
Thomas was born and raised in Lake Crystal, MN and attended Lake Crystal High School and Mankato State University before serving his country with pride in the United States Air Force. Thomas enjoyed spending time with his three daughters and son. Additionally, he enjoyed fishing and learning new things – his greatest joy being encouraging his son in both academics and athletics.
Mr. Olsen was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Mankato, Minnesota and enjoyed singing in its choir. Additionally, he served as class administrator for Bible Study Fellowship classes.
He represented employers in federal and state class, collective, and single-plaintiff actions filed against them under various US laws such as Title VII, the FMLA, ADA/ADEA Act/whistleblower statutes/common law – including Title VII/FMLA/ADA/ADEA Act and whistleblower laws as well as complex employee misclassification issues.
Thomas Severson is a professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for Columbus Blue Jackets of the National Hockey League (NHL). Additionally, he has represented Canada both at junior and senior levels of competition.
He is known for his superior skating abilities and offensive prowess, boasting an extremely accurate shot that makes him dangerous around the net.
He is fortunate to be supported in his endeavors by both family and friends, particularly Carol who he married and had three children: Timothy, Michele and Kristina as well as grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When not working or caring for family responsibilities he enjoys fishing and hunting as hobbies while attending Christ the King Lutheran Church in Mankato Minnesota as a member where they also play music together with other members of their group.

A member of both the American Bar Association and Minnesota State Bar Association. With Carol Severson as his wife they share three children – Timothy, Michele Wiles and Kristina Ott.
Tom enjoyed being a father, watching his son explore life academically and athletically. In addition, he enjoyed fishing, his pets, spending time outside in nature and spending quality time together as a family. Tom was known for having many talents but kept an open mind so as to learn new things.

He is survived by his wife Carol and three children Timothy Severson and Heidi of Owatonna; Michele Wiles (Jeffery) of Fort Collins, CO; Kristina Ott (Joseph) of Minneapolis; stepgrandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both of his parents as well as brothers in law.
Tom enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, playing cards and camping with family and friends; particularly up north at Tomahawk. As an expert griller and party starter – he will be sorely missed by those that knew him.
Damon Severson currently plays for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL), having been selected 60th overall in 2012 NHL Entry Draft by them.
He has been sidelined since December 15th due to a lower-body injury but could return on Friday. He currently has 12 points (4G / 8A) through 32 games this season and boasts tremendous potential – especially as a defensive player – as well as possessing an exceptional shooting form the point and being known for physicality.
