Thomas Engelhart has been appointed Area Vice President Nordics at Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group and will oversee their 58 Radisson Blu and Park Inn by Radisson hotels located throughout Nordic countries. Prior to Carlson Rezidor, Thomas served as CEO at Coop Marknad AB as well as Senior Vice President Commercial Operation & Brand Experience of Scandic Hotels.

Early Life and Education

Thomas Engelhart studied fashion at Studio Bercot in Paris and worked on clothing from Thierry Mugler and Hermes. These experiences instilled him with elegance, rigor and an appreciation of quality that have since translated to handmade decorative boxes and mirrors produced in his workshop.

In the 1920s he designed several buildings in Brooklyn for various clients including Eastern District Turn Verein on Bushwick and Gates Avenue and Pirika Chocolate Factory on Dean Street in Crown Heights. Additionally he created one for Masonic Mint on Middagh & Henry in Brooklyn Heights.

Tom Engelhardt is an adjunct community college instructor specializing in biology and environmental science. Additionally, he enjoys playing acoustic guitar for pleasure.
