Early Life and Education
Senator Steven Rosino has not forgotten his roots since becoming part of a state legislative body that has seen its share of contentious battles. Rosino, who won an unfinished seat of Kyle Loveless in a special election held November 2017 and has won successive terms since, stated his main objective as working towards providing Mustang, Yukon and Valley Brook residents with an optimal future for themselves and their district.
Rosino served 25 years in the Navy and retired as a Master Chief Petty Officer – its highest enlisted rank. After leaving military service he obtained both realtor’s and broker’s licenses before founding Rosino Realty. Additionally he has composed music for 29 short and feature films along with dance, theater and multimedia shows.
Professional Career
Steven Rosino has been an integral part of Mexico’s musical scene since the early 80’s. A composer, arranger, pianist and musical director who has collaborated with some of Hispanic music’s premier performers – composer for short and feature length films as well as dance, theater and multimedia shows – Steven has earned himself an esteemed position within this scene.
He works as a mental health clinician for Queer Asterisk, an organization providing comprehensive behavioral health services to the LGBTQ community, as well as being a consultant for Envision: You, which assists and empowers those struggling with mental illness.
Personal Life
Rosino remembers his sister’s words when working to serve the people in his district – including Mustang, part of Yukon and most of Oklahoma City – which includes Mustang and parts of Yukon and Oklahoma City. He says he hopes to bring enthusiasm, dedication and determination into his new position.
His professional career encompasses work as a composer, musician and musical director. He has composed music for 29 films as well as theater productions and multimedia shows.
He has collaborated with artists such as Marco Renteria from Gipsy Kings. Additionally, he has recorded with musicians like Otmaro Ruiz, Joey Heredia, Louie Plamer and Marcus Wolf. Currently living at 52 Madison Avenue Inwood New York
