On July 30th 2015 at approximately 1:30 AM he left Lucky’s Tavern in downtown Fort Lauderdale and stopped at a Valero gas station to purchase snacks before returning back to his car on West Las Olas Boulevard. Surveillance video indicates he engaged in a verbal altercation with another vehicle at this gas station before driving away.

Police released surveillance footage showing a sedan pulling up alongside Mackrell’s Ford Fusion at a gas station and are hoping that one or more occupants may have information that can assist them in finding him.

Mackrell boasts over 60 acting credits spanning TV shows like Dallas and Dynasty to movies like Gremlins and Teen Wolf. Additionally, he was host of Celebrity Sweepstakes game show.
He specializes in estate and wealth planning and wealth management, working closely with clients and their accountants, insurance professionals and financial advisors to develop strategies for the protection and transfer of assets between generations.
