Early Life and Education
Steve Snider hails from a small town in Southern Jackson County where he excelled academically and athletically. Playing football and track in high school, then moving on to Jackson Community College and Western Michigan University after graduation was both impressive academically and athletically.
Greensburg Salem coach Tim Snider was an inspirational figure, leading both cross country and track teams to great success under his direction. According to former coaches, his positive energy and pre-meet speeches became legendary among them.
Life Champs Sports was co-founded by Snider in order to foster excellence in athletic competition while teaching kids character, attitude and purpose through competition. He serves on Fellowship Associates and Pulaski Academy College Prepatory School boards and is an ardent believer that businesspeople do more good for society through commercial activities than through charity donations.
Professional Career
He is an exceptionally hard-working self-starter and creative problem solver, focused on producing tangible results in all he does. He holds both an MA in Humanities and Leadership from New College of California with a specialization in Creation Spirituality as well as two BA degrees: Contemporary Religious Studies and Transpersonal Psychology from Prescott College.
His natural business acumen allows clients and agents to gain a deeper understanding of the market through team building and strategic partnering. He is an active philanthropist who is dedicated to local equity issues as well as global poverty issues through AfricaWorks – an Africa based non-profit which offers sustainable business initiatives in five African nations.
Nancy Jo Snider teaches cello at American University and performs internationally with period instrument ensembles and the INTERFERENCE new music collective. A passionate educator, Nancy takes great joy in sharing her love of music with others.

Snider founded D1 Training in Little Rock, which quickly rose into one of its top-5 revenue-generating locations worldwide. He cofounded Life Champs Sports as well, a youth sports organization focused on cultivating young leaders while planting healthy churches that impact communities worldwide.

Master Chief Snider served aboard the USS Mustin (DDG 89) from April 2012 to January 2015; Naval Air Facility Misawa from August 2017 to July 2020; and Navy Region Japan/Naval Cyber Warfare Development Group from July 2021 onward. Personal Life
Hobbies for John included photography, hiking and sailing; teaching auto mechanics to various high schools for 25 years was another passion of his. John leaves behind his beloved wife Deborah Woods Snider; two sons Matthew and Nathan Snider as well as Julia and Luke Snider who will miss him deeply; his brother-in-laws John Wilson & Constance Wilson of Frank Woods as well as many nieces & nephews he loved greatly.
Snider brings his natural business acumen to his work as a broker at One Sotheby’s International Realty, serving Aventura, Sunny Isles and Surfside at his branch office in Miami Beach. As team leader he prioritizes agent development and strategic partnering. Furthermore, Snider is active in philanthropy; developing AfricaWorks which supports sustainable business initiatives in Mozambique as well as hosting the ROCKERS ON BROADWAY rock concert series to support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS/nonprofit performing arts education programs.
