Early Life and Education

Hankin moved to Greenwich Village shortly after graduation from college during its height of folk music’s popularity, washing dishes during the day while honing his performance skills at coffee houses each evening by reciting offbeat monologues to would-be hipsters and folksingers such as Bob Dylan and Dave Van Ronk.
Steve Hankin currently resides in Springdale, Arkansas with his wife Amanda and believes dentistry to be one of the most rewarding professions worldwide. He takes great pleasure in listening to each patient’s unique life story as well as providing high-quality yet cost-effective dental care to his patients.
Steve Hankin has spent much of his professional career working in management consulting. Throughout this time at McKinsey and Company and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide he helped thousands advance their careers and uncover new opportunities in the workplace.

Hankin has achieved much. He has served on accreditation teams at multiple two-year colleges throughout the U.S. and Puerto Rico; additionally, he is actively involved with many civic and professional organizations like ClubCorp and is an AAVC trustee.
He credits VER’s success to hiring top talent, then getting out of their way so they can provide excellent service for customers. People “have amazing capacity when left free to develop themselves”, according to him.
Hankin has also played an influential role in ACM, serving on its Europe Council with the goal of strengthening their policy arm and co-authoring two major policy papers for publication by ACM as well as providing European insight to critical committees and activities within ACM.
Hankin is an avid scuba diver and lover of nature, who lives with his wife and two children in Springdale, Arkansas.
He has written 14 articles for the New Jersey Law Journal and graduated from University of Pennsylvania; furthermore he is a member of American Bar Association.

Hankins was an indispensable member of Luke Fickell’s Ohio State defense, finishing with 67 tackles, 11 for loss tackles, three sacks, two forced fumbles and two forced fumbles – making him one of the premier defensive tackles in college football.
