After years in electric power engineering, Steve Easterday and Kim answered God’s call to ministry by moving their family from Chicago to Durango, CO with their children Stephen, Megan, Kaitlin and Connor.

Pastor Easterday dedicated five fruitful years to First UMC Durango as well as serving Peaks & Plains District and Rocky Mountain Conference, community service projects, mentoring youth-based behavioral health facilities and suicide prevention crisis centers.
