Ronald Henry – A Legendary Las Vegas Real Estate Professional

Ron Henry was an ardent family man, taking great pleasure in spending time with his children and grandchildren, fishing and taking in sunset views at Marco Island.

According to the sheriff’s office, a body was discovered in the woods approximately one mile south of where Henry was staying for work and an autopsy showed no evidence of trauma on it.

Early Life and Education

Dailey arrived back at his farmhouse the next day and found its door wide open with cold air blowing through, so he called authorities who searched the area for hours.

Henry managed his finances wisely despite professional football being an expensive occupation at the time. To supplement his income, he ran a market garden and became known for having large pockets at post-match pub rounds at Tottenham High Street’s Bell and Hare pub. On foreign tours he brought along a large suitcase full of cash as security.

In 1954, he was selected for Milwaukee Braves minor league system; and later that same year made the opening day roster of Minnesota Twins during their inaugural year in Minnesota; though never quite making it into their regular first team and lost his spot to Welshman Mel Hopkins.

Police reports indicate that Henry was last heard from on Dec. 5, at approximately 3:30 am. On Dec. 6 at around 9 am, his friend at the rural Grant County farmhouse where he was staying contacted Makinye to report Henry had vanished.
