The 5k Run/Walk is a great way to raise awareness for the fight against Pancreatic Cancer. The Walk is one of the largest sources of funding for PanCAN, an organization dedicated to providing support and assistance to those battling this disease and their families.

When you Wage Hope at PurpleStride Presented by OptumCare Cancer Care, you join a vibrant community of survivors, impacted families, loved ones, researchers and advocates committed to rewriting the future of this deadly disease.

Across the country, 59 events will be held on the same day to generate awareness and raise crucial funds for PanCAN programs. 93.1 The Mountain is proud to be a part of this event, and hopes you’ll get involved as well.

April 30 – The Annual PurpleStride Las Vegas returns to The Green at Town Square in person after being virtual in 2020 due to Corona. Opening Ceremonies will take place at 8:15 A.M. followed by the 5K Run/Walk starting at 9:00 A.M.

The best part about this event is that you get to see hundreds of show cars and custom vehicles from some of the best automotive companies in the industry. There are also a variety of accessory exhibits to check out.

There will be plenty of activities for the kids including face painting and a fun family photo opportunity. The event also offers a chance to win some fabulous prizes, so don’t forget your camera!
