NCIS New Orleans Help Wanted
NCIS: New Orleans is a spin-off of the popular CBS show that follows a team of agents as they work to solve crimes involving the US Navy and Marine Corps. The series stars Scott Bakula, Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan, Rob Kerkovich, Shalita Grant, Daryl ‘Chill’ Mitchell and CCH Pounder.
NCIS New Orleans was one of the most successful shows on television and was renewed for seven seasons before its final episode aired last year. Fans of the show are understandably upset about the news that it is being cancelled, but the executives behind the show say they did their best to wrap up all the storylines with a happy ending.
The show ended with a cliffhanger that many fans thought would have lead to another season, but the NCIS: New Orleans executive producers, Christopher Silber and Jan Nash, decided to keep it quiet about the future of the show. They told TV Insider that they thought they could find a way to keep the series going without creating more drama, but when they did they realized that there was no real reason for the show to continue.
It was a shock for viewers when Lucas Black, who played the lead character on the show, Chris LaSalle, was killed in season six. While many fans thought that he was killed due to a rift with his co-stars or because he had done something wrong, it turned out that the actor wanted to leave the show for personal reasons.
He took to social media after the announcement to thank fans for their support and said that he would miss the cast and crew, but he was looking forward to spending more time with his wife, Maggie O’Brien, and their two children, daughter Sophie Jo and son Augusta “Gus” York.
While the show’s writers had planned on wrapping up all of the remaining stories in season 7, they learned that the city of New Orleans was facing a COVID-19 pandemic. Pride and his girlfriend, JAG Commander Rita Devereaux (Chelsea Field), stayed in New Orleans to help the city recover from the disaster.
In addition to working with the NCIS team, he also helped to organize a group of people who wanted to help the city. They formed the New Orleans CARE Network and began to help people in need, even while their own lives were still in turmoil following Hurricane Katrina.
A Navy SEAL is found dead in a sorority house, but the NCIS team soon discovers that the crime may have had something to do with one of his classified missions or collegiate foul play. The team also investigates the death of a Chief Warrant Officer and finds that his wife was kidnapped and is being held for ransom.
The NCIS New Orleans team is in need of extras for an upcoming video game event and are looking for young men and women between 18 and 35 to participate in the shoot. The shoot will take place in New Orleans on November 30 and pays some money.
