On September 27, 1952, Mychael David was born in a small rural town of Massachusetts and began skating at six years old. Throughout high school he played hockey until deciding that it wasn’t his best career choice – instead pursuing acting and comedy instead.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in construction and engineering from Wake Technical Community College before continuing on to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for further study.
After college, David became a professor of chemistry and oceanography at Foothill College in Los Altos, California. He enjoyed providing his students with field experiences. In the 1970s, he founded one of the first eco-tourism companies: Nature Expeditions International (NEI).
As an attorney, David provides clients with advice on a wide variety of employment law matters. His specialty lies in defending employees against discrimination and retaliation. Furthermore, he has authored numerous legal articles covering topics from employee safety to sex discrimination.
