Laurie Henry was recently appointed dean of Salisbury University’s Seidel School of Education, coming from Kentucky where she served as associate dean and faculty director of P20 College and Career Readiness Lab.

She holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Connecticut in special and teacher education respectively. Additionally, she completed a doctorate degree specializing in Cognition and Instruction with an emphasis in literacy and technology education at UConn.

In 2008, she collaborated with University of Kentucky College of Education Assistant Professor Richard Sebastian to design “PlugGED In,” an adult GED program. Since its creation, numerous students have successfully completed it.

She currently provides clients with advice and counsel in high-stakes matters outside product liability litigation, including FDA and compliance advice. She has assisted them with labeling compliance, marketing/advertising regulations, recalls, risk mitigation plans and citizen petition responses.

This accolade recognizes a member of Harrisburg campus alumni office staff whose actions demonstrate unwavering devotion to meeting the goals and objectives of Penn State Alumni Association.
