Nike Kyrie Chinese New Year

Nike will release several colorways of the Nike Kyrie 4 for the Chinese New Year, including a special edition that features floral design on the side of the shoe. The red premium suede upper is adorned with the floral design, which also appears on the tongue and insole of the shoe. A white rubber outsole completes the design. The Nike Kyrie Chinese New Year is set to release on February 25 at select Nike stores.

The Kyrie 7 “Chinese New Year” is inspired by the Chinese knot, which symbolizes unity and prosperity. The Chinese knot is traditionally tied from one piece of cord and represents the unity of people and all things. The Chinese knot also symbolizes the color red and gold, and the color combination is reminiscent of the colors of the Chinese New Year, including pink and jade, which are traditionally associated with prosperity.

The Chinese New Year will begin on January 25th and end on February 8th, 2020. In addition to the color scheme, the Kyrie 6 will feature an exclusive graphic on the mid-foot strap. Other features of this Chinese New Year edition include the Golden Swoosh logo, a Green interior lining, and a Purple-and-Gold Outsole.
