Early Life and Education

Children’s early childhood experiences have a tremendous effect on their physical, emotional, and social development. Supportive environments and positive interactions set children up for successful adult lives that promote physical strength, emotional well-being, and social responsibility.

Children develop essential emotional skills during these formative years, including self-assurance, regulation of emotions, social interaction and trust in one’s abilities. A solid foundation for these capabilities provides children with the emotional intelligence required for school, career and healthy risk-taking.

At the same time, children need a secure place to play with friends, interact with their teachers and develop their sense of independence. These activities help build strong, healthy brains as well as an insatiable thirst for knowledge that will last throughout life.
