John Lyboldt – The Voice For Truckload Carriers
John Lyboldt took over the Truckload Carriers Association in December 2015, and immediately set about to work. With a mission to expand TCA and become the voice for truckload carriers, his vision quickly gained momentum.
He accomplished this through lobbying on Capitol Hill, educational offerings, fleet and driver awards, as well as overall outreach initiatives. Under his leadership, TCA has seen record growth during this time.
Early Life and Education
Early childhood education is a field of academics that involves teaching children from birth to approximately eight years old. This education emphasizes the development of children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical needs.
These years are critical in the development of a child’s brain. This is when they create social skills, self-worth, perception of the world and moral outlook.
Parents are a child’s primary educators, and the quality of their relationship often has an enormous influence on their development as an adult. Furthermore, the environment in which they grow up plays an integral role.
John Lyboldt has been in the automotive industry for over 35 years, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Dealer Services at NAADA.
Since Lyboldt took office as TCA president in December 2015, he has been on a mission to make TCA the best it can be for truckload carriers. To this end, his focus has been on four areas: creating shareholder value; improving profitability; retaining skilled personnel; and advocating on behalf of truckload through government affairs.
TCA boasts a rich heritage and is guided by an experienced board of directors. Over the course of 2017, staff at TCA will be busy strategizing for its next major initiatives – including recruiting a new president.
