He died on October 17, 2017 at age 85. He is survived by his three children. He is also survived by his sister, Rose Kruse. He will be missed by his many friends and family. After a whirlwind 35-day revamp, Mission Grill opened for Swallows Day 2012. He also engaged a brand strategist from Orange County to create its colors, graphics, menu and vibe. It became a cheerleader for downtown, welcoming customers who walk over from the mission and inviting them to see other attractions.

Achievements and Honors

Gillotti, a 29-year firefighter with the city of Danbury, is known for his tenacity. He often takes new firefighters under his wing and does not hesitate to pass on his knowledge.

He is also known for his business acumen and has built a successful company called Eco-Tech Contractors with his brother. A native of central Iowa, he grew up working in the family business and developed a talent for construction and business.

Adams, a Digital Arts major, achieved a 4.0 grade point average and has earned President’s List status. Her accomplishments also include being a member of the Phi Theta Kappa All-New York Academic Team.
