Falbo loves to paint and play music in his free time. He also takes pleasure in playing golf, fly fishing and hunting.
In addition to his career as a professional musician, Falbo has served in the military for over four decades. As an Army Colonel, he flew three tours of duty in Korea and Vietnam.

John Falbo was a retired colonel in the United States Army’s Signal Corps branch. During his career, he flew fixed-wing and helicopter aircraft missions while also serving as senior executive with AT&T, ARINC and Satellite Business Systems. He held a variety of board positions, such as chairing Aztec-America Bancorp and Milwaukee Public Museum. Additionally, he served on the Board of Regents for the University of Wisconsin System. A loving father and husband, he is survived by his four children and eight grandchildren. On May 9, 2020 in Williamsburg, Virginia he passed away peacefully at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors. In memory of him, please donate to your favorite charity in his name.
