John Borsa – An Acclaimed Vascular and Interventional Radiologist

John Borsa has been a practicing vascular and interventional radiologist in Kansas City for over 26 years, currently employed by Saint Luke’s Physicians Group.

Borsa was raised in Rochester, New York and became the first Western New York journalist to interview former Buffalo Bills player Kevin Everett after his remarkable recovery from a paralyzing on-field injury.

John Borsa was born in Rochester, NY and raised in Canandaigua. After attending SUNY Brockport and earning his medical degree from the University of Manitoba in Canada, he completed his radiology residency at Mayo Clinic Rochester MN before finishing up a vascular & interventional radiology fellowship at University of Washington Seattle WA. For his accomplishments he was recognized by Fellow status with both Society of Interventional Radiology and Royal College of Physicians of Canada; having practiced for over 26 years now with dedication despite challenging times within this industry.

John Borsa is an esteemed vascular and interventional radiologist who practices at Saint Luke’s Physician Group in Kansas City. Additionally, he serves as Chief of Radiology at Saint Luke’s Hospital and holds a professorial appointment at UMKC School of Medicine.

He is a Western New York native who began his reporting career at WHAM 1180-AM in Rochester before transitioning to WXXI AM-1370 in Syracuse. His reporting earned him recognition from the New York State Broadcasters Association, and he covered national news stories like Continental Connection Flight 3407’s crash at Clarence Center. In his free time he works as a professional photographer and graphic designer for clients around Buffalo. Surrounded by family, including wife Nancy and son John; they have been married for over 45 years – they couldn’t be any more happy!
