Jim Benjamin is president of Precision Brush in Cleveland, Ohio, and an active member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), an exclusive global network of business owners with 155 chapters worldwide. Jim specializes in helping entrepreneurs strengthen and expand their businesses through connecting them locally and globally.

At twelve, Benjamin apprenticed himself to his older half-brother James, a printer. Even though James often treated Benjamin harshly and beat him severely, Benjamin learned the printing trade quickly and started writing essays under the pseudonym Silence Dogood for James’ newspaper; these humorously lampooned Boston society and quickly gained him popularity among readers.

Additionally, Jim has become well known for his support of Cleveland charities and arts initiatives.

He specializes in commercial real estate transactional work such as the acquisition, sale and leasing of office buildings, retail shopping centers and apartments; lending transactions with institutional client banks; as well as serving as Managing Editor of Colorado Real Estate Forms Deskbook published by CLE of Colorado Inc.

He and Bernice have three children together and enjoy spending time in nature together as well as running and basketball – two passions he was an instrumental contributor during one of SD Mines Hardrocker basketball team’s most successful periods in school history.
