Jack Eggert, RADM, Passes Away

Eggert served the University Police department for over 25 years and was an active member of Gasport Masonic Lodge 786, International Police Association and St Paul’s United Church of Christ in Pendleton. Additionally he volunteered his services with both American Legion and National Guard organizations.

He has long criticised originalists who assert that the Constitution contains a strict nondelegation principle; such claims lack support in historical records and textual sources.

Early Life and Education

Throughout the 1990s, he made numerous television shows and films for TV. Additionally, he appeared as a guest star on many series such as Touched by an Angel, Veronica’s Closet, and Full House. From 1994-1999 he was a regular on Aaron Spelling’s Fox nighttime soap opera Melrose Place as alternately caring and conniving Dr. Peter Burns – even directing episodes.

He continues to repair saxophones and clarinets he played as part of North Central College in State College, Pennsylvania’s Tarnished Six band, making them affordable purchases at great prices. Prior to that role he also worked as adjunct professor of communications until 2006. Married with two children residing in Grant Park Illinois.

Professional Career

Eggert may be known to many local residents for his work with Tarnished Six as a drummer or as producer/director of instructional television at WPSX for 14 years; others may know him for his efforts connecting kids and instruments; now offering repairs on saxophones, clarinets and flutes at prices they can afford for area schoolchildren.

As a former partner at Wadleigh, Starr & Peters, Eggert now specializes in one of the quieter corners of litigation: representing churches under the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act. He currently resides on Westmoreland Street in Rancho Cucamonga California but previously resided at 2833 Ramblingwood Ln in Washington Township as well as 14104 Panay Way Marina del Rey. John, Cheryl and Kyle Eggert are his three children while Sierra Furer Devon Reynolds and Caleigh Reynolds complete his family tree.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 63 years – Dolores Conlin Eggert; four children (Christopher Eggert with his wife Karen; Michael Eggert with Alice; Martha McWatters (Martha with Bernard); Kathleen Lucero with Joe; eleven grandchildren – including Captain Brendan McWatters USMC); five great-grandchildren; two nieces; and three nephews. A memorial service will take place later this month – instead of flowers donations may be made towards local food pantries instead. Gus will be missed greatly. RADM Eggert made his final take off on December 27, 2015. RIP Gus.

Personal Life

Eggert also works as the Sports Director at the University of Tennessee, holding a bachelor’s degree in sport management. She has held this role for more than ten years.

Eggert was best known for her role as Dr. Katherine Mitchell on Aaron Spelling’s Fox nighttime soap opera Melrose Place (1994-1999). Additionally, she appeared in several made for television movies including Moving Target with Jason Bateman, Lady Killer with Judith Light, Frequent Flyer with Joan Severance, and Dirty Little Secret with Tracey Gold.

She currently resides in Knoxville, Tennessee with her husband and one daughter. Her family is very supportive of her career. Donna Morgan and Sheila Wallace, nieces from her side of the family are particularly close.

Net Worth

In the 1990s, he appeared in several television shows and movies such as Full House, Touched by an Angel and Veronica’s Closet. Additionally, he made appearances in Detonator, Bar-Hopping Dumb Luck and Face Value films.

Fans of Baywatch may recognize him from his portrayal of Summer Quinn, an attractive blonde lifeguard. Additionally, he made appearances on The Super Mario Bros Super Show and Boy Meets World.

He is an enthusiastic collector of vintage music. He owns an extensive record collection and regularly repairs instruments he plays such as saxophones, clarinets and flutes that require repair. Furthermore, he serves as an amateur musician as well as music teacher and local community activist; according to Form 4 filed with SEC on 17 May 2023 he owns at least 19,810 units of Rayonier Advanced Materials Inc stock valued at over $84,193 as of that date.
