Is Willow Leaving General Hospital 2022
General Hospital 2022 Spoilers – Willow Tait (Katey McMullen) Is Leaving the Soap
General Hospital spoilers indicate Katey McMullen’s Willow Tait will depart the show. It has been a difficult journey for Willow, who faced cancer, struggled with her weight, and then got pregnant. Now her pregnancy has become complicated by complications from cancer which has reached stage 4, making treatment even more challenging for Willow.
Willow Tait, daughter of Carly (Laura Wright) and Harmony Ufgood, had been trying to build a relationship with Nina Reeves (Kelley McMullen) ever since she first showed up at her doorstep in 2018. Unfortunately, her parents passed away suddenly in a car crash, so Willow quickly discovered she wasn’t her biological mother.
Willow finds herself torn between loyalty to her real mom and the woman she believes to be her biological mother. To cope, she decided to keep her diagnosis private in an effort to locate her birth mother. Additionally, she hoped that finding her biological mother would provide her with a bone marrow donor so she could beat leukemia for good.
Unfortunately, Willow’s quest to discover her biological mother proved more complex and time-consuming than anticipated. It wasn’t until Carly intervened and encouraged Drew Cain (John Stamos) to help her that Willow discovered Nina was her real mother.
Once she discovered the truth, she desperately attempted to return to GH in search of Nina. But as time passed, she grew increasingly resentful towards those keeping her in the dark about her mother’s past.
According to GH spoilers, Willow has finally located her biological mother but it appears her life could still be in jeopardy. With cancer having reached stage 4, finding a bone marrow donor that works for Willow may no longer be an option.
Good news: Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) has found a way to save Willow from her predicament. She plans on convincing Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) to test Nina to see if she is indeed a bone marrow match for Willow.
Once Willow receives the test results, she can decide how to move forward. She has two options: donate her own bone marrow or search for another donor who can assist her.
She can select the type of medication she takes – either chemotherapy or radiation.
No matter what obstacles arise, Willow will stay determined and fight for her and Wiley’s lives! She has endured so much, yet she continues to put her family first before any personal needs.
At the end, she’s determined to have the baby of her dreams – even if it means upstaging her husband Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). But making such a choice can be daunting when she knows he will be unhappy about it.
Despite all these obstacles, Willow and Michael remain deeply in love with one another. Their willingness to sacrifice everything for one another is evident – which explains why they’ve endured so much together.
