Henry McLaughlin is an internationally acclaimed artist best known for his oils and watercolor works. Henry McLaughlin lived an eventful and fulfilling life with Pookie, two sons, and many dogs. He enjoyed camping and nature walks as an advocate for environmental conservation and wildlife preservation; joining Friends of the South Cumberland where he received their Jim Prince Award was among his greatest honors.
Mr. Weil was also on the Board of Directors for several local businesses, such as Nashville Jet Center and Parthenon Properties, while being one of the founding partners of Capricorn Investment Group – an investment fund dedicated to investing in iconic technology companies with groundbreaking solutions to world’s pressing problems.
He died peacefully surrounded by family at MercyOne Newton Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa on July 25, 2021. Montana offered its beautiful forests and waters, providing him with peace and comfort as he breathed his last.
