Henry Becker was born in El Paso, Texas in 1935. A dedicated husband, father and grandfather, Henry enjoyed gardening, splitting wood for firewood, canning his vegetables, dancing polka and sitting on his porch watching traffic go by. Henry is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
He practiced law at a leading global firm, where he specialized in complex litigation matters and regulatory investigations and responses. Additionally, he served on the governing board of the American Bar Association as well as teaching adjunct classes at University of California Los Angeles.
He holds an extensive list of honors, such as being honored with induction into the NDSCS Hall of Fame in 1991. Additionally, he enjoys entrepreneurialism and being actively involved with local community.

Becker soon went on to work for a futures brokerage firm in Chicago where he eventually rose to become in-house associate general counsel and managed many disclosure, compliance, litigation and contractual matters within the industry.
He has written several books on military law and later joined a Vault 100 law firm in Palo Alto where he practiced commercial litigation and regulatory investigations and responses.

Henry Becker was an active member of his community, serving on boards at his local church, school and Lion’s Club as well as being involved with Greater Hartford Labor Council and Connecticut State Labor Council. Additionally he held membership with International Association of Machinists Lodge 1746 where he served for many years as its President.
He earned his law degree at Northwestern University Law School and since 1984 has handled many disclosure, compliance and litigation matters within the futures and securities industries for both registered broker-dealers as well as registered registrants.
He is married and lives with Linda and Dee Dee in West Hartford, CT. A member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, he stays active within his community through various activities.
