Early Life and Education
Early years in a child’s life have an enormous influence on their future trajectory. What they experience during these formative years shapes their brain, social development, emotional stability and even physical health.
That is why it is essential for children to have access to high-quality early childhood education (ECE) programs that promote positive emotional development in young children, as well as a solid foundation in math and literacy skills. Furthermore, children need healthy, supportive relationships with educators and peers during this critical period.
Pre-primary education is an incredibly important period in a child’s brain development, and providing quality pre-primary education can have a lifelong effect on their emotional wellbeing and academic ability. Unfortunately, nearly half of all pre-primary-age children worldwide do not have access to such quality instruction.
