Professional Career
George Rohrig, a pastor and teacher of the Bible, was renowned for his integrity and clarity in explaining Scripture without compromising fundamental values. Before accepting his call to ministry, he had worked as a Certified Public Accountant for several years.
He served on the executive committee of Revival Fellowship, an association of hundreds of pastors who came together for fellowship and accountability. Furthermore, he was a leader of Buckhead Coalition–a civic organization dedicated to giving neighborhood associations power to build strong communities.

George Rohrig was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother to the late Betty June Rohrig; loving husband of Diane Davis (deceased), beloved Father to Donna Weeks (partner Fred Svec), George William Rohrig (wife Donna), beloved Grandpa of Angela Weer (husband Jeffrey), Lauren Azure, Donald Weeks and wife Katie; Heidi Urbany and husband Sean; Kate Geho and husband Corey; Darrel Sapp (wife Kristin); caring Great-Grandpa to Tyler Jillian Nora Alice Bennett Calvin Anna Asher Riley Madison Carson as well as dear brother to Liliuma Eiermann who passed away; plus beloved dogs Daisy and Maxwell that made his life complete.
He owned a number of restaurants that were operated through his company, Cartel Restaurants Inc. These included East Village Grille, The Lodge, Peachtree Cafe, Nickiemoto’s, Azio’s and Percy’s.
