George Bigelis

George Bigelis is a real estate tycoon. He owns Budget Suites of America, an organization that specializes in extended-stay rental properties.

He is the founder of Bigelow Aerospace, an aerospace company that designs and builds inflatable astronaut habitats for NASA. He has invested much of his fortune into researching UFOs and has long been fascinated by paranormal events.

Achievements and Honors

George was an inspiring business innovator, community leader, dedicated family man and generous philanthropist. His life and works serve as a testament to what can be accomplished when vision, compassion and energy combine for success.

He served as the Chairman of a number of organizations, such as the YMCA, Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club. Furthermore, he was an active member in the Knights of Columbus for more than 50 years.

He was an ardent supporter of the Green Bay Packer and University of Wisconsin football team. Additionally, he enjoyed woodworking and reading newspapers cover to cover. Most importantly, he loved spending time outdoors with his family. A wonderful father, grandfather, friend to many and beloved by many – he will be greatly missed by many.
