Early Life and Education
Children experience rapid brain development during their formative years. This affects their future academic abilities, behaviors and physical and mental wellbeing.
Early childhood education programs strive to create an enabling environment for children to grow and learn in a secure, nurturing setting. These settings offer children opportunities to interact with others and develop social skills such as turn-taking, participation, and cooperation.
Early childhood experiences lay the groundwork for a child’s self-worth, perception of the world and moral outlook. These skills will serve them well throughout their academic and cognitive careers.
