Daniel Joiner is an accomplished pianist with degrees in both classical and jazz piano, serving as both teacher, composer, arranger and musician at venues throughout Tampa Bay. His repertoire covers jazz classics, pop, Broadway R&B funk latin music. Joiner can perform solo or as part of a duo trio or quartet.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and earned the Eagle Scout rank. Additionally, he was an exceptional father and husband who will be greatly missed by many people in his family and community. He leaves behind his wife Ginger Rushing; daughters Sonya (Adefemi) Adesuyan, Lakesha Joiner and Damayla Joiner as well as four sons: Daniel Davenport, William Joiner Yisrael Robinson Ramsey as well as 16 grand and 16 great grandchildren as well as various relatives and friends he predeceased his parents on his death bed.

Daniel Joiner is a professional musician and pianist with degrees in Classical Piano Performance from Stetson University and Jazz Studies from the University of South Florida. His repertoire encompasses classical, Broadway, movie/TV themes, rock, Christian music, R&B funk & Latin music; performing regularly across Tampa Bay venues.
He is also an accredited presenter for NIBA CPD presentations on contract works insurance and contractor plant insurance for brokers in Western Australia, providing training on contract works insurance and contractor plant coverage respectively. In his role, his focus lies on expanding Mecon’s reputation in WA as a reliable insurer of choice for these two lines of business.
Osteopath Daniel Joiner offers treatment of all musculoskeletal injuries including neck/back pain, sciatica, repetitive strain injury and chronic conditions that have not responded to other treatments.
Achievement and Honors
Joiner was appointed Chief Diversity Officer for UnityPoint Health and continues to enhance their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. In addition, he sits on system DEI councils.

Personal Life
Joiner enjoys music in his free time while serving as the Diversity and Inclusion (DEI) Officer at UnityPoint Health Trinity in West Des Moines. As such, he oversees DEI efforts and initiatives across the organization while serving on systemwide and regional DEI councils.
He has performed at public venues such as Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay Times Forum, Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and Rusty Pelican – offering his extensive repertoire.
Joiner was married and leaves two children behind, Dajon and Daisy. In his final days he was surrounded by family and friends; a member of Union Baptist Church in Ruleville Mississippi where he worshipped regularly. Joiner will be deeply missed.
