Daniel Curran is an esteemed veteran of the United States Army who proudly served in Afghanistan. For his service he earned many medals and awards including an Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Two Campaign Stars as well as receiving his Combat Action Badge as well as receiving various unit and personal awards.

He leaves behind his wife, three children, and several grandchildren as well as an abundance of nieces and nephews.

He deeply cared for his family, serving as both husband and father. Additionally, he volunteered his time at Norwich Corps of Cadets and Yantic Fire Company until retirement. Additionally, he enjoyed nature – spending hours day and night watching wildlife roam his yard – as well as being an excellent neighbor and friend to all who knew him.
