These talking eggplants, led by a giant eggplant and his dumb sidekick spy on the Bagges family through a periscope, are led by a giant eggplant. They attack because Muriel harvests their eggplants using a periscope. This makes them unjust. Courage saves them by flooding the farm with water and forcing the evil eggplants into the ground.
Among the other characters in Courage the Cowardly Dog is Muriel’s grandma, who is also a great fan of opera. She makes a memorable appearance as the voice of the Grandma. The sarcastic voice of her grandma is the perfect foil for her sarcastic remarks. She is not only adorable with her dog, but she also has a playful attitude and a childlike quality.
