Google Creates Selena Quintanilla Cartoon
Google has created an animated doodle to honor the late Tejano singer Selena Quintanilla. The doodle features the singer singing as a cartoon. Selena, a Mexican-American singer, released her debut album Selena in October 1989. She followed up the album with five more, the last of which became her first No. The album was the No. 1 album on Billboard 200.
The animated short features the singer singing “The Sweetest Thing”, the title track of her debut studio album. It celebrates her love for music and her dedication to becoming Selena. The cartoon has been widely circulated and even the Mexican-American pop star has a fan group and a YouTube channel dedicated solely to her music. There are plenty of other ways to keep up with the famous singer, however, and she has even spoken to Latino USA about her career.
A selena quintanillia is a great choice for anyone looking for a new design or a fun activity. You can draw the iconic singer with a pencil or iron transfer and then transfer it to another medium. You can also paint Selena Quintanilla’s picture on a tee-shirt or iron-on iron transfer.
A 90-second animated doodle featuring Selena will be featured on Google’s homepage in the United States, as well as several Latin American countries. It will also be available in other regions around world. The cartoon will launch alongside the new Selena collection and an exhibit in Google’s Arts and Culture Exhibit. Perla Campos, Google’s global marketing leader, grew up idolizing Selena as a child and decided to make a video to honor her legacy.
