Who Is Brett Henry?

Brett Henry graduated from USC and began his career with Self Storage Management Company (“SSMC”). There, he spent six years learning all aspects of self storage from its inception. While working there, Brett was responsible for acquisitions/land development/operational efficiencies/strong company culture development.

Rebuilding Sandywell Park and at one time owning part of Drury Lane Theatre were among his numerous accomplishments (Cibber, Apology, p. 212). He outlived Addison until his untimely demise in 1724.

Early Life and Education

Henry Brett was an entrepreneur and newspaper publisher in New Zealand. Additionally, he owned and managed commercial properties throughout Auckland as well as being an avid gardener who was interested in choral music – even donating one pipe organ to Auckland Town Hall! Additionally he sang in several choirs around town.

His influence was felt locally as well, serving as chairman of the Parnell Highway Board and member of Auckland Harbour Board as well as serving on Auckland City Council as a justice of the peace.

Brett Henry specializes in selling and leasing industrial properties. With 18 years of experience working in this sector, he currently works for Washington Nationals.

His expertise lies in industrial property in Texas, particularly Dallas-Ft. Worth. He serves as project leasing, tenant advisory, acquisitions and dispositions agent of office/tech, industrial and flex properties.

Henry was raised in Maize, Kansas – a rural community famed for its beautiful sunsets and wide open spaces. An avid vintage drag racing enthusiast who competed on the National Hot Rod Association circuit for many years, Henry tragically met his end at Auto Club Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield California when his Iron Mistress AA/Fuel Altered throttle appeared to hang open during qualifying qualifying sessions for qualifying – tragically taking his life.

Achievement and Honors

Henry can often be found competing in the Cooke Municipal course May Day Masters tournament as one of its first players each year – never missing an opening day since 2013.

Breckenridge Backstage Theatre’s show was also notable for its intentional programming statement which acknowledged changing times within Colorado theatre by having all presenters represent underserved communities such as people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ people and women. Breckenridge Backstage Theatre made history when teenage Riley Goossen won their inaugural Design Award – becoming Henry Theatre history’s youngest recipient ever of this accolade!

Personal Life

Brett Henry is an established travel industry figure and an active seed investor in travel tech ventures. As president and CEO, he is focused on leading MG through an exciting period of transformational change.

He owns and operates multiple bars and restaurants, as well as being an experienced real estate investor with both income-producing properties and capital appreciation assets.

At Te Kiteroa, his garden demonstrates his talents in horticulture, while Auckland Town Hall’s magnificent pipe organ bears testimony to his love of choral music. Additionally, he was deeply engaged in local politics by serving on both Parnell Highway Board and Auckland City Council.

At an N.Y.U business school student happy hour, Mr. Henry met Ms. Henry. At that time, he was working as a management consultant with a strategy consulting firm in New York.
