The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify a body that was found in Flowery Branch. Investigators have been able to produce several pieces of evidence that point to a murder in the area. There is a man of interest, a few suspects and a couple of dead bodies. A few of the remains have been sent to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) crime lab for further investigation.

While the GBI has not formally confirmed the identity of the remains, they have identified a few people of interest and shared some pictures of a vehicle linked to the case. One of those persons was the same age as the victim. The other two elderly men were removed from the residence by adult protective services. They are not relatives, though they were removed because they were not safe.

Various agencies are involved in the investigation, including the FBI and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. In addition, the Flowery Branch Police Department and the Hall County Sheriff’s Office are also conducting their own investigations. Several of the skeletal remains have been sent to the GBI for further analysis.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office has reportedly been contacted by Gwinnett County Police. It has not been made clear what type of weapon was used to kill the woman. Regardless, officials will not know more until the autopsy is completed. Until then, they will have to wait for the media to cover the story.
