Amar’e Stoudemire is an American professional basketball player, and has a significant impact on the game and his community. He is a member of the Mali Basketball Commission, and was named a Good Will Ambassador to Sierra Leone. Stoudemire also owns a major share of the Israeli basketball team Hapoel Jerusalem. He founded the foundation to help youth with scholarships, basketball tournaments, and other community projects in Africa.
