188 South New Braunfels Announces New Pizzeria

New Braunfels is a lively town that offers family-friendly activities such as Schlitterbahn in the summer. The city will be getting an upscale pizzeria this year. The name is a reference to an earlier 188 South restaurant that occupied the same downtown location until 2016. This time, the focus will be on artisan pies. Executive chef Jeremy “Boomer” Acuna plans to bring an Italian flavor to the town.

The city is located in the Texas Hill Country, and is rich with old-world charm and German heritage. The city’s German name is fitting as it combines Texas hospitality with the German heritage its founders. 188 South New Braunfels can be reached from Houston, Austin, or San Antonio in a short drive.
